Stingrays India is part of Stingrays Global, an Asia-focused aquatic education network headquartered in Singapore. After becoming the largest private swim school in Sri Lanka, we’re now expanding in India — starting with Chennai — with the goal of making swimming a life skill for every Indian child.
We believe swimming is not just a sport or skill, it’s life insurance. In a region where thousands of lives are lost to preventable drowning each year, we’ve committed ourselves to building scalable, high-quality, and community-rooted aquatic education systems that make swimming accessible, safe, and empowering for everyone.

Before launching internationally, we built, refined, and pressure-tested our systems in Sri Lanka — where we became the largest and most trusted swim school, delivering lessons to thousands of children and adults every week across multiple cities. From coach training and curriculum design to technology systems, performance tracking, and location setup, every part of the Stingrays model has been built with scalability, quality, and impact in mind.
Where We Started
Stingrays was born out of a vision to make swimming accessible, joyful, and safe for everyone. We launched operations in Sri Lanka, where we developed and pressure-tested our systems, coach training frameworks, and digital tools over several years. Today, we’ve grown into the largest private swim school in Sri Lanka, delivering structured programs to thousands of swimmers each week across 11+ cities.
